  I have been a customer with the commonwealth bank for 7 years now, I visited the Fawkner branch last week for the first time to open a business account, and I gotta say hands up for The customer service specialist Elizabeth psaila, I have never met anyone with such a great customer service, always smiling and always following up to give us an update on our application. I highly recommend. It’s definitely worth the 30 min drive from where I live.

  There was a problem with the way my accounts were set up - staff were dismissive and said immediately that it couldn't be fixed, that there was only one way (the less ideal way) to do it. Had to go back to ask if they could try again. After a bit of effort (only reason for the 2 stars), they said it couldn't be done. Well - they should have called the main office because when I did as soon as I got home, they did it for me easily, no problems.
  
  Of course the cherry on top was the general air of arrogance and condescension you could feel in their interaction. Wouldn't go back if I didn't have to.

  On Wednesday the 29th December i came into Fawkner branch with my elderly parents to sort out some banking and new accounts. I cannot speak highly enough firstly of the teller who was very happy and polite, but also of a girl named Saide who was at front desk . She went through all paperwork and explained everything step by step with a beautiful smile and also great interaction with my parents. No question was to silly to ask she made us feel very comfortable.If all customer service was this good we would all be better of. Saide is very professional but very down to earth and very relatable.She is definitely one to have on board...

  Dads being going for days now trying to get a simple mortgage balance sheet filled out, which could be done at the teller, but they make it sound so complicated that it needs to be sent somewhere else which it doesnt because i called up and the customer service consultant over the phone did say they can get it done but they just refuse to do it. They are wasting his time and make him come and go several times.

  I have been here quite a few times over the years.
  
  Back when this was my local branch, service was not too bad at the time. But that was over a decade ago.
  
  I came back recently as I was passing through the area. I went in to make a transaction and there was not much of a queue.
  
  The service was fast and polite, not much else to be said. I was in and out within 10 minutes.
  
  Overall, my experience was good. I would come back here if I needed to and was in the area.

  I had two accounts and one with an expired card.I went to get a new card for the expired one. The great staff deactivated my good card and took my deactivated one saying that they could not replace it. Now I have got no way to pay with any credit cards.
